FY 2026 Undersized Water Main Replacement Project
The City of Sioux City announces the upcoming start of the Fiscal Year 2026 Undersized Water Main Replacement Project. This project includes the replacement of various water mains and services that have been identified as undersized in the system. Local access will be maintained with driveway closures kept to a minimum while the water main is installed.
2026 Construction Schedule
Jul. 13 - Aug. 15: Westcott St. (1st - 2nd St.)
Aug. 10 - Sept. 12: Chicago Ave. (S. Rustin St. - S. Helen St.)
Sept. 1 - Oct. 1: W. 1st St. (Main St. west to dead-end)
Sept. 21 - Nov. 15: Center St. (W. 1st St. - W. 3rd St.)
2027 Construction Schedule
Mar. 15 - May 10: Dubuque St. (7th St. - 14th St.)
