Equipment Reliability I-WG Meeting Takes Place in Baden, Switzerland

The Equipment Reliability Industry Working Group (ER I-WG) organised a workshop focused on SOER 2025-1, held from 28-30 October 2025 in Baden, Switzerland. Hosted by swissnuclear, the event brought more than 80 nuclear professionals representing 28 organisations across 20 countries, both in-person and online.

The workshop aimed to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange around the effective implementation of SOER 2025-1 recommendations. Participants explored organisational strategies, practical tools, and innovative approaches to enhance equipment performance. Key take-aways were shared for attendees to identify and adopt at least one actionable improvement to apply within their own stations/organisations.

Each day featured a blend of member-led presentations and interactive breakout sessions, allowing participants to share experiences, challenges, and lessons learned in implementing the recommendations. These discussions provided a valuable platform for peer learning and cross-organisational insight.
