DNC Statement on Jewish American Heritage Month Arrow

DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement marking Jewish American Heritage Month:

"During Jewish American Heritage Month, Democrats are proud to recognize the generations of Jewish individuals and families who have invaluably contributed to the fabric and history of the United States, often fleeing oppression and discrimination to do so. We honor their achievements and affirm our common values of tikkun olam, equal justice, and religious freedom.

"This month and every month, we must also recognize our collective duty to combat the disturbing rise in antisemitic hate and violence. No one in America should live in fear of practicing their faith openly. That is why, as we work to foster greater understanding and interfaith dialogue, Democrats are committed to ensuring that Jewish Americans feel safe and secure as valued members of our community."
