LPAC Foundation Celebrates Success at Gold Nugget Gala & Grand Auction

Lancaster, CA. July 8, 2025 - The Lancaster Performing Arts Center Foundation (LPACF) proudly announces the outstanding success of its annual Gold Nugget Gala & Grand Auction, held June 7, 2025, at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center. $57,000 in cash contributions and event sponsorships were given by AV Mall, California Compaction, Garrison Family Medical Group, LAMAR Advertising Company, Learn4Life, the Calandri Family and US Bank, along with many more local businesses, individuals, and community partners who continue to champion the arts in the Antelope Valley. Thanks to the generous support of attendees, sponsors, and community partners, the Foundation raised a remarkable $85,800 during the event, bringing the total fundraising efforts surrounding the event to more than $142,000.

The evening featured an old western inspired elegant and rustic atmosphere with heavy hors d'oeuvres, lively entertainment, and a spirited auction, resulting in $61,000 raised through auction items and an additional $25,000 contributed directly to the Foundation's Arts for Youth Program-a vital initiative that ensures access to quality arts education and live performances for local students.

In a special highlight of the evening, the LPACF proudly awarded two $5,000 Performing Arts Scholarships to outstanding local seniors: Micah Stutelberg of Quartz Hill High School and Mataina Punefu of Highland High School. Both recipients were recognized for their dedication to the arts and will use the scholarships to further their education in the performing arts.

Steven Derryberry, President of the Lancaster Performing Arts Center Foundation remarked, "This event is a testament to the incredible generosity and commitment of our community to enriching the lives of young people through the performing arts."

The Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to all who participated, donated, and made the evening an unforgettable success. Funds raised will support ongoing youth programming, scholarships, and expanded access to arts experiences for underserved students throughout the Antelope Valley and beyond.
