PONY AI Inc. and Toyota Advance Commercial Deployment of Autonomous Driving with Mass-Produced Gen-7 bZ4X Robotaxi

Guangzhou, China, February 9, 2026 -- Pony AI Inc. ("Pony.ai" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: PONY; HKEX: 2026), a global leader in achieving large-scale mass production and commercialization of autonomous driving technology, today announced that the first mass-produced seventh-generation ("Gen-7") bZ4X Robotaxi, developed in collaboration with Toyota Motor China and GAC Toyota, a joint venture between Guangzhou Automobile Group Corporation ("GAC") and Toyota Motor Corporation, has rolled off the production line. This marks a significant milestone on the Company's path toward more than 3,000 Robotaxi vehicles by year-end 2026, reinforcing its commitment to large-scale commercialization.

This mass-production milestone for the Gen-7 bZ4X Robotaxi is the result of a long-standing collaboration between Pony.ai and Toyota beginning in 2019. By leveraging Toyota Motor China and GAC Toyota's advanced vehicle platform, redundant vehicle design, and R&D and manufacturing capabilities, Pony.ai integrates its Level 4 autonomous driving system, hardware-software integration expertise, and operational know-how to create powerful synergies.

Both companies plan to produce more than 1,000 Gen-7 bZ4X Robotaxis in 2026. This effort supports Pony.ai's goal of expanding its total Robotaxi fleet to more than 3,000 vehicles by the end of this year. As production accelerates, Pony.ai will deploy the Gen-7 bZ4X Robotaxi across tier-one cities in China. Together with Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation ("BAIC") and GAC's Robotaxi models, the ARCFOX Alpha T5 and the second-generation Aion V, which are already serving users in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, Pony.ai will continue to offer multiple Gen-7 Robotaxi models to support broader user coverage and deliver diversified riding experiences.
