City Issues Request for Proposals for Economic Development Strategic Plan

The City of Novato has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified consulting firms to develop an Economic Development Strategic Plan that will serve as the foundation for the City's future economic growth initiatives. Interested parties should have direct experience in preparation and implementation of economic development strategic plans. The selected firm will be responsible for preparing a comprehensive plan that contains specific economic development goals, strategies, and implementation measures. The process will include extensive public engagement to ensure the Strategic Plan's vision and outcomes are rooted in community input. This plan will guide future economic development efforts to foster a thriving business environment, support a vibrant downtown, and sustain a healthy local economy that attracts visitors while providing residents with diverse options for shopping, recreation, and employment.
