The event will be held on Monday, Feb. 9, 2026, from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Villa Rica High School cafeteria. Presented by Willowbrooke at Tanner and the Wildcat community, the panel will feature a licensed professional counselor and a psychiatrist from Willowbrooke at Tanner, along with a member of the Villa Rica Police Department sharing practical strategies for building healthier online habits and supporting student well-being at home and at school.

Topics include:

  • Online safety, including privacy and digital footprint
  • AI tools and smart, healthy use
  • Cyberbullying and how to recognize and respond
  • Digital stress and coping strategies

"Kids are growing up in a world where social media and emerging AI tools can shape how they see themselves, how they connect with others and how they feel day to day," said Meagen Thompson, MA, LPC, director of behavioral health and business development at Willowbrooke at Tanner. "This panel is about giving families practical, realistic ways to build healthier online habits, recognize warning signs like cyberbullying and digital stress, and support students' emotional well-being at home and at school."
