PANGKALPINANG -- PT TIMAH (Persero) Tbk has once again demonstrated its commitment to strengthening corporate governance by obtaining ISO 30301:2019 certification for Records Management Systems.
This certification serves as proof of the company's commitment to managing archives in a professional, integrated manner in accordance with international standards, as well as aligning records management practices with the principles of good corporate governance (GCG).
As part of its transformation, the company has also carried out archive digitalization to ensure that all documents are well-documented, properly organized, and maintained with a high level of security. This digitalization also improves efficiency and facilitates easier access to company documents.
PT TIMAH has further optimized the development of policies and procedures for records management in line with ISO 30301:2019 standards. In addition, the company has strengthened human resource capacity through various training programs and socialization initiatives regarding the importance of standardized records management.
All of these processes were reinforced through an external audit conducted by the independent certification body TUV SUD. As a result, PT TIMAH was declared to have met all requirements and officially achieved ISO 30301:2019 certification.
"This achievement reflects PT TIMAH's strong commitment to implementing proper records management governance. With this certification, we are increasingly optimistic about improving the quality of our records management to be more orderly, accountable, and sustainable," said PT TIMAH's Director of Human Resources, Ratih Mayasari.
Ratih added that ISO 30301:2019 certification also provides added value in supporting transparency and strengthening stakeholder trust in the company.
This achievement aligns with the accomplishments of PT TIMAH's Records Management Unit, which previously received recognition from the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI) as a State-Owned Enterprise with an AA "Very Satisfactory" rating in archival management.
"Records Management Systems are not only about meeting standards, but also a strategic component in supporting performance, transparency, and the company's sustainability," she said.
Going forward, Ratih hopes that this certification will motivate all company personnel to continue increasing awareness in records management, maintain consistency in system implementation, and pursue continuous innovation to further optimize the established system. (*)
