04/05/2026 - Save the Date: Spring Arts Walk April 25-26

Olympia Spring Arts Walk on April 24 & 25

Mark your calendars for Friday, April 24, from 5-10PM, and Saturday, April 25, from 12-6PM, as Arts Walk lights up Downtown Olympia with a vibrant two-day celebration of community, culture, and the arts!

This spring, Arts Walk features an incredible lineup-including the Procession of the Species Celebration from Earthbound Productions, along with artists, makers, and performers showcasing creativity in all forms. From exhibits and events to hands-on activities, more than 125 neighboring businesses become part of the experience, transforming downtown into a bustling hub of imagination and expression you won't want to miss!

What to Expect:

  • Over 200 artist exhibits and events to explore: Discover new and original works of art, attend artist receptions, live demonstrations, and participate in interactive opportunities.
  • Live Performances: Enjoy music, dance, comedy, circus arts, and dramatic performances throughout downtown Olympia.
  • Outdoor Features:
    • Arts Market: 90+ artists, makers, and artisan vendors located on the waterfront landing of Percival Park.
    • Activity Area & Busking Zone: A 4-block downtown street closure offering a pedestrian-friendly space to gather, celebrate, enjoy hands-on activities, and catch the mystery flavor of Arts Walk through impromptu performances by creatives from the Olympia community.
    • Luminary Procession: ​Friday, 8:30PM
    • ​Procession of the Species​: Saturday, 4:30PM

Announcing the Spring Arts Walk Cover Piece, "Spring Garden" by Fern Tallos

Each Arts Walk, an artist is selected to create an original work for the event cover. This spring features artist Fern Tallos and her acrylic painting Spring Garden, which showcases her distinct style influenced by her Scandinavian heritage, cultures of activism, DIY, and punk.

"I am guided by the notion that when we make art, it is activism, and that creating joy through this work is a radical act."
