Silver Seawolves read 'The Axeman's Carnival', Oct. 30
The first reading for the Silver Seawolves Book Club is 'The Axeman's Carnival' by Catherine Chidgey. This novel, set in rural New Zealand, interweaves light and dark themes. The story is grounded in our contemporary world, for the most part presented realistically, but the narrator is a talking magpie!
