President Gitanas Nausėda addressed participants of the North American Lithuanian Business Forum, held in Los Angeles, via a video message.
"Seven years ago, a small group of Lithuanian professionals met at our embassy in Washington, D.C. to discuss strengthening ties between Lithuania and North America. What began as a simple conversation has grown into a dynamic platform connecting business leaders, academics, and policymakers on both sides of the Atlantic," the President noted.
Gitanas Nausėda emphasized that this year's forum is taking place in a particularly symbolic location-Los Angeles, where creativity meets cutting-edge technology.
"Lithuania is also pursuing this combination. The path we have chosen reflects our conviction that success favors the most flexible and innovative economies," the President added.
The President highlighted the importance of the strategic partnership between Lithuania and the United States, the expanding cooperation with U.S. companies, and the broad opportunities in areas such as defense innovation, artificial intelligence, food technology, and the creative industries.
"I invite everyone to seize this opportunity. Be bold, be creative, and build long-term business partnerships," Gitanas Nausėda said in his video message.
The forum in Los Angeles brings together representatives from Lithuanian and North American business, innovation, creative industries, and the public sector, all seeking to strengthen international cooperation and develop new projects.
