The Illinois Department of Early Childhood, in partnership with the Illinois Department of Public Health, is sharing helpful information and resources to support early childhood providers, families, and communities as measles cases continue to be reported in Illinois and across the country.

Measles is a contagious illness that can be more serious for babies and young children. Staying up to date on recommended vaccinations is one of the most effective ways families can help protect their children and others in their community.

As trusted partners to families, the early childhood community plays an important role in sharing clear and reliable information that matters. Below are easy to share resources that can help families stay informed and make the best choice on how to support their child's health.

We encourage you to use and share these materials with the families you serve. Providing timely, accurate information helps caregivers make informed choices and supports the well-being of children across Illinois.

Thank you for your continued partnership and for helping us share important public health information with families throughout the state.
