Public Input Sought on March 5 to Help Shape the Future of Murphy Park

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (March 3, 2026) - The City will conduct a public input session on the significant renovation of Murphy Park, a 3.48-acre recreational space in the Rutgers Village/Edgebrook section.

The park, accessible from Pennington Road and Tunison Road near Robert J. Boyler Elementary School, offers playgrounds, shaded picnic areas, and various sports fields and courts, all nestled within a residential community on the City's eastern border.

The meeting will take place at the Robert J. Boyler School, the former Woodrow Wilson School, 133 Tunison Road, on March 5 at 6 p.m. Those attending should park in the lot and use the school's front entrance.

During the session, the public will be able to interact with design professionals, view displays as part of the presentation, and complete the online questionnaire if they have not done so already.
