April 30, 2026 - One Night Live , the touring initiative from nonprofit foundation Live Music Society and its partners supporting emerging artists and independent venues, has concluded its Spring 2026 runs after more than 30 shows across the East Coast, West Coast, and Midwest. As Billboard describes it, One Night Live is "a mission to create a viable alternative for independent artists and venues that have been hit hardest by the growing cost of live events."

Launched in 2025, the program was created in response to a growing challenge facing early-career artists: the increasing financial barriers to touring. By providing direct support to both artists and independent venues, One Night Live helps make touring more sustainable while strengthening local music ecosystems. With four successful tour runs completed to date, and more planned for later this year, the initiative continues to build momentum nationwide.

Across two separate tours running concurrently from March to April, Claire Ernst and Dani Offline, along with Jesus Christ Taxi Driver, drew strong crowds night after night, with high turnout and engaged audiences . Highlights included a sold-out show at Berlin Under A in New York City for singer-songwriters Claire Ernst and Dani Offline, along with standout hometown dates in Colorado for indie rock band Jesus Christ Taxi Driver, where the band played to packed rooms and some of the most electric crowds of the run.

Produced in partnership with Midtopia, a live touring and production partner that helps develop and execute high-impact runs for emerging artists, Jesus Christ Taxi Driver took their raw, high-energy live show across the West Coast and Mountain regions. Known for their sharp songwriting and commanding stage presence, the band built steady momentum throughout the run, with their Colorado home shows feeling like true full-circle moments, fueled by strong local support and deeply engaged fans.

From Treefort Music Fest appearances to club dates in key markets, the tour underscored the band's growing reach ahead of their sophomore album Taxi The Rich, released April 24.

In partnership with Salt Lick Incubator, an artist development program focused on building careers through touring, marketing, and strategic growth opportunities, and D-TOUR, a live events and touring platform that supports independent artists by connecting them with venues, audiences, and promotional resources, Claire Ernst and Dani Offline stepped into co-headlining roles with confidence, bringing their dynamic live sets to audiences across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. A clear highlight was their sold-out night at Berlin Under A in NYC, signaling growing demand and a strong connection with fans. Dani Offline's " Angel " video, a song she performed nightly on the tour, has topped 284,000 Instagram views, boosted by a repost and comment from SZA.

Beyond the stage, both artists also appeared at Berklee College of Music's Career Jam, where they participated as speakers and performers, connecting with students and industry peers as part of the school's annual career-focused event. The appearance added another layer to the tour, bridging live performance with mentorship and professional development.

Each One Night Live date continued the initiative's core mission: fostering collaboration between artists, venues, and local communities. Shows frequently incorporated local openers, and participating venues received direct financial support and resources to help offset production and marketing costs.

The Spring 2026 tours further demonstrate the strength of the One Night Live model, not only as a touring platform, but as a sustainable ecosystem that prioritizes artist development, community engagement, and the long-term health of independent venues.

Additional One Night Live tours will be announced soon for Fall 2026, as the initiative continues to expand its reach and impact.

As the program grows, One Night Live remains focused on creating viable, scalable opportunities for artists to build careers on the road while strengthening the independent venues that serve as the backbone of live music.

About Live Music Society

Live Music Society (LMS) empowers small venues and listening rooms across the United States. Since 2020, the nonprofit has distributed $5.1 million in grants to 227 unique venues, supporting live music stages, emerging talents, established artists, staff, and patrons. With a focus on engaging communities, expanding audiences, increasing representation, and enhancing the live music experience, these grants underscore the foundation's commitment to strengthening the small, independent venue ecosystem nationwide. In 2025, LMS introduced One Night Live, a first-of-its-kind, continuously growing touring collaboration with organizations including D-TOUR, Salt Lick Incubator, Midtopia, and Cleveland Rocks: Past, Present & Future. The series creates a new touring model that lowers costs, shares resources, and strengthens the connection between emerging artists and the independent venues hit hardest by rising live-music expenses. livemusicsociety.org
