Chinese Ambassador to Botswana Fan Yong Pays a Courtesy Call on Governor of the Bank of Botswana Mr. Lesego Caster Moseki
On May 22, Ambassador Fan Yong paid a courtesy call on Mr. Lesego Caster Moseki, Governor of the Bank of Botswana. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation in finance and other fields.
Governor Moseki spoke highly of China's long-standing support for Botswana's development, and looked forward to closer cooperation with China in areas such as finance and capacity building.
Ambassador Fan briefed on China's zero-tariff treatment for Africa, and stated that China stands ready to deepen cooperation with Botswana in trade, finance and other fields, so as to inject new impetus into the China-Botswana Strategic Partnership.
