On Uzbek-Swiss political consultations

On November 14, 2024, the seventh round of Uzbek-Swiss political consultations was held online via videoconference with the participation of the heads of the relevant departments of the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.

The current state and prospects for further development of multifaceted relations between Uzbekistan and Switzerland in various fields were discussed. Particular attention was paid to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, financial, technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as within the framework of international organizations.

The parties agreed to jointly facilitate mutual visits and events at various levels, expand the legal framework of bilateral relations, and hold the next round of political consultations in 2025 in Bern.
