City of Toledo and Community Partners Announce Levitt BLOC Toledo Music Series Lineup

The City of Toledo, in partnership with ConnecToledo, Metroparks Toledo and Toledo Design Collective, announced the full lineup for the Levitt BLOC Toledo Music Series during a press conference held at the Danny Thomas Park bandshell, one of the series' featured venues.

The Levitt BLOC Toledo Music Series is a free, neighborhood-centered outdoor concert series made possible through a multi-year Levitt Music Series Grant awarded to the City and community partners following a national public voting and selection process. The program will run in 2026, 2027 and 2028, bringing live music to parks across Toledo's central city and expanding access to arts and culture in neighborhood spaces.

The series will be hosted in four public parks across Toledo: Glass City Metropark, Junction Park, Danny Thomas Park, and Promenade Park.

Levitt BLOC, short for Building Layers of Community, brings free concerts to multiple neighborhood sites to strengthen community connections and increase access to high-quality live music. Programming reflects Toledo's cultural diversity and features artists across genres including gospel, soul, Tejano, punk, hip hop, electronic and more.

The City also announced the lineup during a public launch event held at the Danny Thomas Park bandshell.

"The Levitt BLOC Toledo Music Series brings world-class music into the heart of our neighborhoods and creates opportunities for residents to come together in our public spaces," Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz said. "The series reflects the creativity and identity of Toledo's neighborhoods. It connects local artists and community voices to a national platform while strengthening the cultural fabric of our city. We are proud to see Toledo selected for this national program and excited for the energy it will bring across our parks."

"ConnecToledo is proud to help bring this series to life in partnership with the City of Toledo and our community partners," Christine Michaels, President and CEO of ConnecToledo said. "This is about more than concerts. It is about connecting neighborhoods, supporting local culture, and building long-term momentum for public spaces across the city."

The Levitt BLOC Toledo Music Series is supported in part by the Levitt Family Foundation, which partners with changemakers and nonprofits to strengthen the social fabric of communities in America through free, live music in outdoor public spaces. In 2026, the Levitt Family Foundation is supporting over 900 free concerts in 90+ towns and cities across the country, bringing joy to over a million people. www.levitt.org
