Nightly Lane Closures Scheduled for Slide Project on Southbound US-101 in City of Sausalito, Marin County

Construction starts Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Marin County - Caltrans is scheduled to begin work on a slide project on Southbound US-101 in Sausalito on Tuesday, Sept. 8. As many as three lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next mornings.

The closure is from Spencer Avenue to Alexander Avenue.

The project is expected to last about one month. No weekend days are scheduled.

The purpose of this project is to clean up the rock slide area.

This project will increase road safety and reliability for the travelling public.

All work is weather dependent.
