A message from CBJ City Manager, Katie Koester:
This winter storm has been relentless, but Juneau always pulls together when confronted with adversity. We've seen so many examples of neighbors helping neighbors in both big and small ways that truly matter.
We ask, once again, that everyone limit driving today where possible for your safety and the safety of others. We deeply appreciate everyone giving our CBJ, state and contracted plow teams time and space to do their work.
As we come to what we hope is the tail end of this storm, CBJ would like to thank our essential crews for their tireless efforts to keep our community safe and running. We're also incredibly grateful to the people of Juneau for their patience, high spirits and many acts of service throughout this record-breaking event.
