Brno, a rather demanding track especially for the front end
"At 5.403 kilometres, Automotodrom Brno is one of the longest circuits on the Grand Prix calendar. Its layout stands out for its constant and sudden changes in elevation, with a sequence of heavy braking zones and hard acceleration areas that generate high thermal loads and a higher level of tyre wear than at other tracks.
The high demand for precision on corner entry places significant stress on the front end, particularly in the right-hand turns, making front tyre behaviour a decisive factor for stability and the feeling transmitted to the rider.
In the case of Moto2™, the data gathered at the previous edition show that the soft compounds ensured an adequate level of grip and consistency over race distance on both axles. Consequently, a similar trend can reasonably be expected this year, with the use of the rear SC0, already used at Brno in 2025 as development specification E0125, and the standard front SC1.
In Moto3™, on the other hand, the lighter bikes struggle more to bring the softer compounds up to temperature, with a resulting increase in wear. It is therefore likely that, in the race, the medium SC2 solution will be preferred on both axles, as already seen in 2025."
