Route Overview
Participants will begin at Galveston Island Brewing, head west on Stewart Road, south down 85th Street, and cross to the south Seawall sidewalk. They will proceed west toward the Diamond Beach Condos, make a U-turn, and return along the same path back to the Brewery finish line.

Traffic Impacts
While traffic impacts are expected to be minimal, the following temporary lane restrictions will be in place to ensure the safety of participants and motorists:

  • Stewart Road (85th St. to Alice St.) - modified traffic lanes from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM

  • 85th Street (Stewart Rd. to Seawall Blvd.) - one eastbound lane closed from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM

  • Seawall Blvd. - no lane closures; minor delays possible near 85th Street as officers assist participants crossing to and from the Seawall sidewalk

  • Seawall Parking - not affected

Police officers will be stationed at 85th & Stewart and 85th & Seawall to assist with traffic.

We appreciate the community's support in welcoming this meaningful new event to the island and thank residents for their patience during the temporary traffic modifications.
