Bean Votes to End Partial Government Shutdown

WASHINGTON-Today, House Republicans acted decisively to end the Democrat-led partial government shutdown by passing H.R. 7744, the Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2026. In response, U.S. Congressman Aaron Bean (FL-04) released the following statement:

"At a time when U.S. forces are engaged in Operation Epic Fury, and threats from Iran are elevated, the last thing America needs is uncertainty at the Department of Homeland Security. House Republicans know how critical DHS is to our national security. Passing this funding bill ensures our border remains secure, our communities are protected, and our adversaries know the United States stands ready and prepared."
