In view of the next edition of Italian Cuisine Week around the world, anannual event organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to promote excellence in the Italian agri-food sector, the Foreign Ministry has started collaboration with GialloZafferano.
The project combines cultural diplomacy, scientific research and gastronomic heritage with the aim of promoting authentic Italian cuisine around the world, highlighting the genuine quality of our products and the central importance of wellbeing through conscious eating.
Through a series of multilingual video recipes, GialloZafferano Benessere will present ten recipes that symbolise Italian tradition. With a youthful and direct narrative, the project aims, on the one hand, to offer a pathway in food education and, on the other, to effectively combat the phenomenon of Italian Sounding, which - estimated at over €120 billion, is a real economic and cultural threat to Italian food products.
The project will be disseminated through the Italian diplomatic-consular network, Italian Cultural Institutes and ITA offices, including show-cooking events in major foreign locations, thus strengthening the diplomacy of taste and Italy's image around the world.
With this initiative, the Ministry reaffirms its commitment to protecting Italian excellence and promoting a healthy and authentic food culture based on innovation, tradition and sustainability.
