Cedar Falls RAGBRAI Parking and Road Closures

Cedar Falls will be a designated overnight town for RAGBRAI on Thursday, July 24. The community is reminded that during this time, there will be a heavy increase in pedestrian and bike traffic.

Safety: The public is advised to stay alert and use caution, including always driving distraction-free, allow for extra time to reach their destination, plan ahead, and be familiar with road closures, which can be found at www.cedarfallsragbrai.org/residents. Use alternative routes as much as possible during this time to avoid traffic congestion.

Please note that although the entertainment will primarily be in the Downtown District, cyclists will be staying at host sites around the city, so remain alert for increased traffic outside of the entertainment and route location as well.

Downtown Parking Lots: Due to the event, the following downtown lots are expected to be impacted in the following ways on July 24 -

• 2nd Street East (behind Cup of Joe) - Permit parking only.
• 2nd Street West (behind Blue Room) - Unavailable due to vendors and bike parking.
• 3rd Street East (by Tea Cellar) - Unavailable due to vendors and bike parking.
• 3rd Street West (behind Pump Haus) - Limited accessibility until after 6:00 p.m.
• 5th Street West (behind Tony's LaPizzeria) - Limited accessibility until available after 6:00 p.m.
