Taylor Run Infrastructure Stabilization Project: Community Walking Tour August 18

The City of Alexandria will host a community walking tour of the Taylor Run Infrastructure Stabilization Project on Tuesday, August 18 from 3-5 p.m. Participants will meet at in the Chinquapin Park Recreation Center parking lot (marked on the map below) at the start of the tour!

This walking tour is part of the City's continued community engagement as the project advances through design. Participants will have an opportunity to see the project area firsthand, discuss elements of the project's approach to stabilizing infrastructure within Taylor Run, and ask questions about the 60% design set with City staff on the project team


60% Design Comment Period Community Extended Through August 30

The City of Alexandria has extended the deadline to accept public comments on the 60% design plans through Sunday, August 30. Community feedback received during the comment period will be reviewed by the project team as the design advances toward the next phase. Share your input with the Taylor Run Infrastructure Stabilization 60% Design Feedback Form by the new, extended deadline!
