FDNY Commissioner Robert S. Tucker Presides Over Promotion Ceremony for 43 EMS Members

The Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) Commissioner Robert S. Tucker will preside over a promotion ceremony for 43 EMS members on Monday, January 6th at 10 a.m. at St. John's University at 8000 Utopia Pkwy, Queens. The ceremony can be viewed live on the Department's website at www.nyc.gov/FDNY or HERE.
At the ceremony, one Division Chief will be promoted to the rank of Deputy Assistant Chief, one Deputy Chief will be promoted to the rank of Division Chief, one Captain will be promoted to Deputy Chief, four Lieutenants will be promoted to Captain, and 36 EMTs will be promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
The newly promoted members will be assigned to units throughout New York City.
