The class of outstanding scholars who racked up scholarships and fellowships
Noa Offman (C'25) is a senior in the College of Arts & Sciences who won the 2025 Rhodes Scholarship. Dua Mobin (C'25), a double major in biology of global health and government, was named a 2024 Goldwater Scholar. Evan Bianchi (C'25) won first place for her research on how changing schools between pre-K and kindergarten can negatively impact low-income students.
And turned their research into action
Hannah Reynolds (G'25), spent her 2024 summer working with global development leaders to improve lives through evidence-based policymaking as part of her Master of International Development Policy program at the McCourt School of Public Policy.
Students who spent their summers learning, advocating and competing
Ruhie Rapolu (C'25) (center) spent her summer in 2023 with the Summer Immigrant Rights and Advocacy (SIRA) Program through the Center for Social Justice. Lara Larco (C'25) competed for Haiti in the 2023 World Cup
And found victory on and off the field
Sophie Towne (C'25) was selected to play in the 2023 Senior Nexus Championship VeRon Garrison (B'25) was selected as the 2024 No. 35 Joe Eacobacci Memorial Jersey Recipient. Abbey Schiller (C'25) hiked the sixth-highest peak in the world, Mt. Kilimanjaro, in 2022.
The class that expanded their worldview beyond Washington, DC
Leah Chen (C'25) (right) spent her 2024 summer in Thailand researching barriers to health care in indigenous and migrant communities. While also looking to the wonders of the soil beneath our feet … and the stars
Sophia Chang (SFS'25, G'26) and Owen Chbani (SFS'25) set up a telescope by the Heyden Observatory. Mia Foster (C'25) and Emma Pernebo (C'25) with a produce vendor at the GU Farmers' Market, which brought back produce for the first time since 2022 this year.
The class that saw history at the courts and started to make their impact with the law
Turned their pitches into enterprises
Georgetown students at the 2025 "Bark Tank" Pitch Competition. Eli Kerstein (C'24), Lucas Raskin and John Andrzejewski (C'25) launched a start-up building drone detection technology. Brendan Foody (B'25) won the 2023 BIG EAST Startup Challenge.
And cared for the whole person in and out of the physician's office

This class put our Jesuit values into action
McGinnis Harvey (B'25) watches a student presentation as part of the First Generation Investors, a club that provides underserved high school students with financial literacy education. Yingqi Liu (B'25) with MSBGives, an initiative that empowers students to go beyond the classroom and actively engage in charitable work. Annabelle Black (SFS'25), who chose to join the Hoya Battalion as an ROTC cadet to serve something greater than herself.
