LETTENBICHLER BACK IN ACTION WITH SIXTH OVERALL AT SUPERENDURO ROUND FIVE

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Manuel Lettenbichler returned to action at round five of the 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship in Serbia, delivering a consistent performance to claim sixth overall in the Prestige class. Competing aboard his KTM 300 EXC, the German completed all three races inside the top six to secure valuable championship points ahead of the final two rounds of the season.

After progressing through qualifying to earn his place in SuperPole, Lettenbichler focused on delivering a smooth and committed lap on the fast, open Serbian track. Carrying strong momentum throughout the one-lap shootout, the KTM rider set the sixth-fastest time, securing a solid gate position for the evening's three races.

In race one, Lettenbichler made a strong start and completed the opening lap in seventh position. Quickly settling into a competitive rhythm aboard his KTM 300 EXC, the German engaged in a close battle with Ashton Brightmore for much of the race. Maintaining a consistent pace on the demanding track, Mani ultimately got the better of the Brit to secure sixth at the flag, finishing just 12 seconds shy of the race winner.

With the reverse-grid format reshuffling the order for the second race, Lettenbichler lined up on the second row. Despite getting away cleanly, he found himself with only two riders behind him through the opening corners and immediately began pushing forward. By the end of lap one, the KTM rider had already climbed to 10th and continued his charge on the fast and flowing track. Carrying strong momentum and making decisive passes, Mani worked his way into sixth and held that position to the finish, completing an impressive ride through the field to secure 10 valuable championship points.

In the final race of the evening, Lettenbichler produced his best start of the night, quickly moving into fourth place and fighting with the front group on the opening lap. Showing strong pace and confidence in the early stages, Mani remained firmly in contention inside the top six. As the race unfolded, he was gradually edged back through the order and settled into sixth, where he maintained consistent speed to the checkered flag. The result capped a determined performance across all three races and secured sixth overall for the event.

The 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship continues in one week's time with round six from Newcastle in the UK on 28 February.

Manuel Lettenbichler: "It feels really good to be back racing. Overall, I'm happy with how the night went - three times sixth place, which is pretty decent. The pace was there, and the gaps to the front weren't too big, especially considering I haven't ridden much SuperEnduro recently. There's definitely room to improve, but this was a solid step in the right direction. Now we'll keep building for the final two rounds and hopefully fight for a top-five finish. I'm looking forward to getting back at it next week in England."
