Special Species Spotlight

Fourteen villages. Fourteen special species. Fourteen original artworks.

Each village of the Waitākere Ranges has its own special species - and a local artist has brought each one to life. Now it's your chance to see them all, and even take one home.

Join us at The Upstairs Gallery for the Special Species Spotlight Exhibition, celebrating the unique wildlife of our place through art.

Can't make it in person? No problem - you can still bid in the online silent auction and own a piece of the Waitākere Ranges. See link below.

Come celebrate local species, local artists, and a very special place.

Artists exhibiting - Derek March, Camille Joy Howie, Jay Linden, Stephanie Nierstenhoefer, Ted Scott, Noah Hunt, Anna Crichton, Mandy Patmore, Kendra Stoner, Celeste Strewe, Clem Larsen, Monique Endt, Romina Romero, Matt Coates.

There will be additional works by some of these artists for purchase during the exhibition.

This is a fundraising event for the Pest Free Waitākere Ranges Alliance. Your purchase will support the protection of our special species.

The auction is on Friday 27 February.
