#AdvocacyMatters: Seven More Days

Our vision of a truly equitable society for disabled Ohioans starts with the commitment to be there. We have made a pact to help elevate the communities we serve. That starts with a deep understanding, which comes especially from our 2026 Goals & Objectives Survey.

The information we collect from this survey will shape our work in the coming year. On the survey you can find space to share about your background, your experience in disability advocacy, and your needs. Every survey is read, analyzed, and noted for patterns that inform our work moving forward.

It's not too late to take the survey and inform our direction here at DRO. Last year, just our online version of the survey received over 130 responses. This was record breaking for us.

The survey will close next Friday, June 20th, and we are halfway to our goal of matching last year's response rate. You can help us collect more data than the year prior by sharing this survey with your friends and loved ones. We need ALL perspectives, including caretakers, professionals, and loved ones of those with disabilities. If disability rights touches your life in some way, we want to hear from you.
