Gilbert PD and Public Works Partner for Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser

Gilbert, Ariz. - The Gilbert Police Department, in partnership with Gilbert Public Works, is proud to offer its Breast Cancer Awareness Patch and Bin Fundraiser, giving community members a meaningful way to support breast cancer awareness while raising funds for the Impact One Breast Cancer Foundation in Gilbert. Impact One provides essential support and resources to women undergoing breast cancer treatment.

From now through September 28, community members may make a donation in exchange for a limited-edition pink police patch or pink trash bin.

Donation options include:

• $10 donation - Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Police Patch

• $40 donation - Pink Trash Bin + Patch

Bins are limited to 300, and future replacements will revert to the department's standard black trash cans.

Residents interested in exchanging their black trash bin for a limited-edition pink trash bin can do so by making an in-person donation at the Gilbert Police Department. Our Public Works team will then exchange the bins during regularly scheduled trash collection. There will be no additional charge on the utility bill for the bin exchange. However, customers who choose to keep both the pink and black bins will be charged a monthly fee of $14.90 for an additional trash bin.

Donations are accepted in person only at the Gilbert Police Department, located at 75 E Civic Center Drive. The Teleserve Desk is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Payment options include cash, Zelle, or Venmo. Bin delivery will begin in early October.

Residents are encouraged to participate, make a donation, and proudly display their support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
