Ten Genesis HealthCare Affiliated Centers Earn 2026 AHCA/NCAL Bronze National Quality Award

National award signifies a formal commitment to continuous improvement in quality care.

Kennett Square, Pennsylvania - Genesis Healthcare, Inc. announced that ten (10) affiliated skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers have been recognized as 2026 recipients of the Bronze - Commitment to Quality Award by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) for their commitment to improving the lives of residents through quality care. This distinction is the first of three progressive award levels through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program. The Program honors providers across the nation that have demonstrated their dedication to enhancing the quality of care for our nation's elders and individuals with disabilities.

Recipients of the Bronze - Commitment to Quality Award include:

• Cypress Cove Care and Rehabilitation (Muscle Shoals, AL)
• Grandview Center (Cumberland, RI)
• Hilltop Center (Hilltop, WV)
• Kent Regency Center (Warwick, RI)
• Miletree Center (Spencer, WV)
• Quakertown Center (Quakertown, PA)
• Raleigh Center (Daniels, WV)
• Renaissance Manor on Cabot (Holyoke, MA)
• Waldorf Center (Waldorf, MD)

This recognition reflects the dedication of each center to evaluating their performance, identifying opportunities to improve, and continuously strengthening the care and services they provide to patients and residents every day."

The award also highlights the clinical focus and quality initiatives taking place across each center. "Quality care is built through consistent focus, teamwork, and a commitment to getting better every day. Achieving this milestone requires meaningful engagement across all areas of a center, from patient care and clinical excellence to team development and operational performance," said Kristen Morris, Chief Clinical Officer for Genesis HealthCare.

With these latest recipients, Genesis-affiliated centers have earned a total of 57 Bronze, four Silver, and one Gold AHCA/NCAL National Quality Awards since 2023.

The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program is a rigorous three-level process in which organizations are reviewed and evaluated by trained experts against a set of nationally recognized standards for organizational excellence: the Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework. The framework helps organizations achieve superior performance over time, ultimately enhancing the quality of care and quality of life for long term care residents. Providers begin this quality improvement journey at the Bronze level, where they develop an organizational profile outlining key elements such as their vision, mission, customer base, and core strengths and challenges.

This year, the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program proudly celebrates its 30th anniversary. Since its establishment in 1996, more than 8,000 providers across the country have participated in the rigorous, Baldrige-based program to strengthen their operations, improve outcomes, and enhance the lives of residents and staff. This milestone anniversary highlights the program's lasting impact on advancing quality care throughout the long term care profession.

The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award recipients will be celebrated during Delivering Solutions 26, the AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo, October 11-14, 2026, in Boston, Mass.
