The American Bankruptcy Institute's (ABI's) 2026 Rocky Mountain Bankruptcy Conference will be held at The Hythe Vail in Vail, Colo., June 3-5. This annual conference brings together regional judges and top practitioners for three days of networking and interactive programming on timely insolvency topics. The "The 'Bad Debtor' Myth: Bias, Narrative and Power in Court" luncheon session will feature Ciara L. Rogers of Waldrep Wall Babcock & Bailey PLLC (Raleigh, N.C.) leading a discussion on how race, gender, class, geography, professional polish, familiarity with the court and judges, and whether a debtor is a repeat filer can impact case outcomes. Conference registrants have the opportunity to earn up to 9/11.7 hours of CPE/CLE credit, including up to 1.5 hours of ethics specialty credit.
