Hanwha will take part in Eurosatory 2026, held from 15 to 19 June at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition centre.
Hanwha Group's defence affiliates, Hanwha Aerospace and Hanwha Systems, will exhibit jointly under the theme "Field-Leading Innovation, Hanwha," featuring systems that are already in service, co-produced with European industry, and built for interoperability with NATO-standard equipment.
Hanwha Aerospace will present a full-scale K9A2, a variant of the K9 self-propelled howitzer with an automated ammunition-reloading system. The K9A2 raises the rate of fire from six to eight rounds per minute and reduces the crew from five to three, while composite tracks improve mobility and stability. The K9 is currently in service or on order with ten countries, including six NATO members. Also on display are the K10 ammunition resupply vehicle and a K9 mobile howitzer.
Hanwha will also display a full-scale Chunmoo multiple rocket launcher, in service with Poland and on order with Norway and Estonia. Chunmoo fires multiple munition types from a single launcher with two pods, including the 239mm CGR-080 guided rocket, the CTM-290 tactical missile, and an Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile (ASBM). Accompanying it are a launcher integrated on a Daimler truck chassis, a tractor-trailer configuration, the HPRS (High-Performance MRLS), and a performance-improvement (PIP) roadmap.
The line-up will also include the TIGON wheeled armoured vehicle and the K-NIFV infantry fighting vehicle, along with Hanwha's unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) family: the H-UGV combat vehicle, built on the K21 platform with a diesel-hybrid powertrain and an AI-enabled unmanned turret; the UCV-L reconnaissance vehicle, designed to deploy ahead of armoured units for scouting and surveillance; and the GRUNT multi-purpose UGV. Together, they are designed for manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T).
Hanwha's air-defence portfolio spans multiple altitude tiers, supported by an AI-based command-and-control system. The long-range L-SAM (Long-range Surface-to-Air Missile) will be shown as a complete system, comprising the interceptor (ABM), launcher, radar, and engagement-control unit. The medium-range M-SAM launcher and the Low Altitude Missile Defence (LAMD) system are also presented.
In the counter-UAS segment, H-SHORAD is a low-altitude air-defence system that integrates a 3D AESA radar, a 30mm gun, a guided missile, and a jammer on a single platform. H-SHIELD is a distributed system that links a single detection and engagement-control vehicle (with an AESA radar, RF scanner, and AI-based control unit) to multiple strike vehicles. A laser air-defence weapon in service with the South Korean armed forces is also featured.
Hanwha Systems will display its Multi-Function Radar (MFR), the sensor for medium- and long-range surface-to-air missile systems, and the Multi-Mission Radar (MMR), which combines C-RAM detection and air-defence roles in a single system. The company will also exhibit its Active Protection System (APS), an AI-powered satellite-imagery analysis system, and a Medium Unmanned Surface Vessel (MUSV) with maritime counter-UAS capabilities.
Hanwha works with local industry in Poland to produce and maintain its systems, and is establishing the Hanwha Armoured Vehicle Centre of Excellence (H-ACE) Europe, its first European production facility, in Romania. It is also pursuing industrial-cooperation arrangements with other European partners, and plans to sign agreements with several of them during the exhibition.
