Community Meeting Regarding Drinking Water Rescheduled for January 27

The City's Water Resources Department has rescheduled a community meeting regarding the discoloration of drinking water for 5:30 pm on Tuesday, January 27, at the East Market Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 101 W. Vandalia Rd.

The public meeting was initially scheduled for December 8, 2025, but was postponed due to inclement weather.

Discussion topics will include information on the department's efforts to address discolored water, updates on the City's systematic flushing program and water quality preventive maintenance, and a response to complaints.
