Hoa Phat receives Merit from Hung Yen Provincial People’s Committee Chairman on Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day

On October 6, 2026, Hoa Phat Group received a Merit from the Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee in recognition of its outstanding achievements in production and business, its contributions to building and developing the local business community, and its role in advancing the province's socioeconomic development, on the 22nd anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day.

The conference brought together Tran Quoc Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Nguyen Manh Quyen, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); leaders of the provincial business association; and members of the local business community.

Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Manh Quyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, recognized and commended the business community's exceptional efforts to sustain production, expand investment, and safeguard employee welfare.

Provincial leaders reaffirmed the local government's commitment to supporting businesses, addressing obstacles, and improving the investment environment to create the best possible conditions for long-term, sustainable growth.

For many years, Hoa Phat has ranked among the leading non-state enterprises in terms of contributions to Hung Yen Province's budget. In recent years, the Group's annual tax payments in the province have remained steady at VND 1.2-1.4 trillion. In the first six months of 2026 alone, Hoa Phat paid more than VND 1.2 trillion into the local budget, equivalent to its total contribution for all of 2024.

Hung Yen is the only province where Hoa Phat operates across all five of its business sectors: iron and steel, steel products, agriculture, real estate, and home appliances. Hoa Phat subsidiaries that make significant contributions to the provincial budget include Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel Pipe, Hoa Phat Hung Yen Steel, Hoa Phat Steel Sheet, Hoa Phat Refrigeration Engineering, Hoa Phat Hung Yen Animal Feed, and Hoa Phat Construction and Urban Development.
