‘Get Ready in the Neighbourhood’ with free emergency preparedness workshops

October 2, 2025

Edmonton residents are invited to attend free community workshops to learn about emergency preparedness and strengthen neighbourhood resilience.

Neighbourhood Services and the Canadian Red Cross are partnering to host "Get Ready in the Neighbourhood" workshops this fall. Participants will gain the practical skills needed to:
  • Identify risks and hazards in their area
  • Create family and neighbourhood emergency plans
  • Build reliable support networks to help during emergencies
Workshop Details
  • October 8:Mill Woods Seniors and Multicultural Centre, 2610 Hewes Way NW, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  • November 6:Alfred H. Savage Centre, 13909 Fox Dr NW, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
