What is co-production?

Co-production is a collaborative way of working that recognises the unique value of lived experience. It's about people being actively involved in shaping the support they receive - using their insight and expertise to help us design services that truly work.

Co-production week

Monday 29 June to Friday 3 July is Co-production Week, "championing the power of co-production in shaping better, more inclusive social care."

Throughout the week, teams within Achieve together will be invited to bitesize sessions, run by self-advocacy groups Campaign 4 Change and Unity.

These sessions will cover a range of topics, including:

  • The basics of co-production
  • #MindYourLanguage
  • Easy read
  • Citizenship and belonging

This week is an opportunity to highlight the importance of co-production, and advocate to ensure that everyone's voices are heard.
