Tent City Needs Assessments Completed

The Elgin Police Department recently completed comprehensive needs assessments for Tent City residents to better understand and address their individual needs. Following these assessments, 39 residents accepted the opportunity to transition to safe housing at the Lexington Inn & Suites. Additional updates on their relocation day and the Tent City clean-up will be shared as information becomes available.
