Southwestern University is home to the top-ranked career center in the state of Texas, and one of the highest-rated career centers in the nation. From the moment students first step on campus, the Center for Career & Professional Development (CCPD) is available to help prepare Pirates for life after their undergraduate studies. The CCPD's mission is to assist students in exploring career possibilities, building experience and skills, and launching into their professional lives. Whether students are interested in beginning their career after graduation or exploring graduate and professional school, the CCPD offers countless resources, including internship programs, networking events, shadowing experiences, personalized advising, on-campus employment opportunities, and much more.
