Crossover Improvements on SR 1 between Broadkill River and Red Fox Lane
Milton - The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is installing pavement markings and signs to reconfigure crossovers on SR 1 between Broadkill River (Lockerman Road) and Red Fox Lane to improve safety along the corridor by reducing conflict points on Monday, October 27, 2025. The reconfiguration will require motorists from Hudson Road, Eagle Crest Road, Oyster Rock Road, and Steamboat Landing Road to turn right onto SR 1. However, the northbound and southbound SR 1 left turns at these intersections will continue to be permitted. In addition, some crossovers will be identified for authorized users only, such as First Responders.
During implementation, motorists can expect delays due to lane closures, so please proceed with caution and move over to provide space for construction vehicles.
