SW 9th Avenue Asphalt Improvement Project
The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with M & M Asphalt Maintenance Inc. to resurface SW 9th Avenue between Davie Boulevard and SW 12th Court in River Oaks and Croissant Park. This project includes:
- Milling and resurfacing asphalt
- Applying new pavement markings
Construction will begin on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, and is expected to be completed on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Work will take place daily between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Traffic Impacts
- One lane in each direction of SW 9th Avenue within the project limits will be closed during work hours.
- Traffic control personnel will direct traffic as needed.
- Access to driveways will be maintained unless work is taking place in the immediate area across from the driveway. Crews will attempt to coordinate with neighbors prior to the start of asphalt operations that will impact driveway access.
- Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
