West Des Moines Police Search for Armed Suspect – Update

West Des Moines Police continue their search for this suspect. Investigators obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 600 block of 12th Street West Des Moines and another for a residence in the 1400 block of NW 81st Street Clive. The Suburban Emergency Response Team (SERT) assisted investigators by securing these homes. The suspect was not located.
West Des Moines detectives have identified the suspect as Andrew Clark (20) of West Des Moines. Detectives have obtained arrest warrants for Clark on charges of Attempted Murder of a Peace Officer (B Felony) and Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon (C Felony). Anyone with information on Clark's whereabouts is asked to call law enforcement.
All suspects are presumed innocent unless guilt is assessed in a court of law.
