FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. - Motorists traveling along Route T in Franklin County should prepare for upcoming lane reductions as work begins to repair a roadway slide and complete additional roadway improvements. Crews will set the barrier wall Friday, March 20, with slide repair work beginning Monday, March 23.
Route T will be reduced to one lane of traffic in the work zone, with a barrier wall in place and traffic controlled by a temporary signal. The work area is located along Route T just east of Boles Fire Protection District Building #4, near St. Albans Road.
In addition to repairing the slide-approximately 600 feet in length adjacent to Route T-the project will include pavement repair, resurfacing, guardrail upgrades, updated signing, and ADA improvements near Labadie Elementary School.
The slide repair work is expected to take approximately four weeks to complete, weather permitting. The overall project is anticipated to be completed by November 1, 2026.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution while traveling through the work zone and allow additional time for delays. For more on roadway closures due to construction, additional work zone information, and real-time roadway weather conditions, go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.
