Penn State DuBois once again demonstrated the power of its close knit community during THON 2026, raising an impressive $39,059.92 in support of the Four Diamonds Fund at Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital. The campus total contributed to the overall THON grand total of $18.8 million, helping to advance critical research and provide comprehensive care for children and families impacted by pediatric cancer.
Students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members rallied behind the DuBois dancers throughout the year, culminating in a memorable THON weekend in the Bryce Jordan Center at Penn State University Park. Their collective efforts reflected the longstanding commitment of the DuBois campus to making a meaningful difference through philanthropy and service.
Support extended beyond fundraising, as members of the Penn State DuBois community traveled to University Park to cheer on the dancers in person. Numerous alumni were also in attendance, joining Chancellor Jungwoo Ryoo and his wife in showing encouragement and pride as the students represented the campus on the THON floor.
The 2026 total marks another milestone for Penn State DuBois, continuing a strong legacy of record breaking support from a small but dedicated campus community. The enthusiasm and generosity shown this year highlight the lasting impact DuBois students and supporters have in the fight against pediatric cancer.
