San Tan Valley Inc. Submit Petition Signatures for Incorporation Effort

Earlier this week, representatives and supporters from San Tan Valley Inc. submitted over ten thousand petition signatures to the Pinal County Elections Department, requesting an election to decide if San Tan Valley can be incorporated as a town.

After signature review and verification, 10,641 signatures were accepted by the Election Department, well beyond the required threshold of 6,107 signatures. The petition challenge window is open through April 30th at 9:12 a.m., after which the information will be presented to the Board of Supervisors at a future public meeting, who have the ability to call an election, which would take place on August 5, 2025. Voters within the incorporation map would then vote on whether they wish to become incorporated as a town.
