Saint Francis University to Host 43rd Annual Red Mass / Law Day on April 25

Loretto, PA (04/09/2025) - Saint Francis University will host its 43rd Annual Red Mass / Law Day on Friday, April 25, 2025. The annual observance invites the legal and law enforcement communities and the public to reflect on the spiritual and civic responsibilities inherent in law and public service.

This year's national Law Day theme, "The Constitution's Promise: Out of Many, One," highlights how the U.S. Constitution calls us to unity and shared purpose. The theme urges all citizens to take pride in a Constitution that bridges differences, fosters civic engagement, and reminds us that-whether through public service, legislation, or everyday acts-we work together as one "We." It honors the enduring vision of E pluribus unum-"Out of many, one."

The event will feature keynote speaker Marianne Corr, Vice President and General Counsel at the University of Notre Dame. Corr will share reflections from her esteemed legal career and offer insights on how the law serves as a national unity, responsibility, and justice framework.

The Red Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Immaculate Conception Chapel, followed by a luncheon at the John F. Kennedy Student Center.

Judges, attorneys, law enforcement professionals, students, and community members of all faiths are warmly invited to attend this meaningful event.

To register for the luncheon or obtain additional details, please contact LeeAnn Weslager at (814) 472-3001 or lweslager@francis.edu.
