GADSDEN COUNTY TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL IN PARTNERSHIP WITH STALLWORTH ASSOCIATES AND GLOBAL TO HOST JUNETEENTH PRAYER BREAKFAST TO INSPIRE ACTION AND UNITY IN GADSDEN COUNTY
Event to Highlight Youth Empowerment, Faith-Based Leadership, and Community Solidarity

GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. - The Gadsden County Tourist Development Council (TDC) in partnership with Stallworth Associates and Global will host a Juneteenth Celebration Prayer Breakfast on Thursday, June 19, in Quincy.

This year's theme, "Preparing Our Future Generation: For a New and Better Direction," focuses on the power of faith, unity, and intergenerational leadership to shape a more just and hopeful future.

"We are proud to support this important celebration that not only honors our shared history, but also uplifts the next generation of leaders," said Carolyn Ford, chairperson of the Gadsden County TDC. "This Juneteenth event reflects the spirit and values of our community - unity, hope, and a commitment to progress."

The breakfast will feature keynote speaker former U.S. Rep. Al Lawson, whose decades of service in education, economic development, and civil rights have made him a respected voice for community transformation.

The program will include musical selections, youth tributes, and a community call to action.

Event sponsors include: United Gadsden, Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice, Global Hand of Hope, Mama's Hand, and the Black History Committee of Gadsden County

"Juneteenth is more than a date on the calendar - it is a call to remember, a call to reflect, and a call to respond," said Dr. Tracey Stallworth, event organizer and founder of Stallworth Associates and Global. "We are honored to have Congressman Lawson join us for this moment of unity and purpose as we mobilize our community around faith, equity, and progress."
