Alpine County
Highway Striping Operations Next Week
Alpine County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following striping operations next week on State Route-88 (SR-88), and SR-89 for construction and maintenance operations. Work to occur as follows:
State Route 88
- Conventional moving highway from Shake Ridge Road to the California/Nevada State Line for striping operations beginning Monday, April 21, through Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
State Route 89
- Conventional moving highway from Indian Springs Road to the Alpine/El Dorado County Line for striping operations beginning Monday, April 21, through Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
