MID PENN BANK HIRES ERIC MURCHISON AS COMMERCIAL LOAN OFFICER

Millersburg, Pa. - October 27, 2025. Mid Penn Bank (the "Bank"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. ("Mid Penn") (NASDAQ: MPB), is pleased to announce that Eric Murchison has joined the Bank as vice president and commercial loan officer. Based at the Bank's Comly office in Philadelphia, Murchison will support commercial clients throughout the greater Philadelphia area market and will report to Abe Ibrahim, senior vice president and regional president of the Philadelphia City region.

Murchison brings more than a decade of experience developing complex credit and banking solutions for commercial clients. Most recently, he served as vice president and business banking relationship manager at WSFS Bank, where he managed a portfolio of commercial and industrial and commercial real estate clients and developed customized lending and cash management solutions to support their growth. His background also includes leadership roles with Citadel Credit Union and S&T Bank, where he helped establish and expand business banking programs, strengthen client partnerships and deliver financing strategies tailored to the needs of middle-market companies.

Murchison is pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration and economics from Temple University's Fox School of Business, with expected completion in summer 2026, and has completed advanced coursework in commercial banking and credit risk analysis. A Philadelphia native, he is known for his relationship-driven approach that focuses on partnership, access to capital and long-term business growth. He is the author of Who's Your Banker?, a guide that helps business owners build stronger relationships with their financial institutions and better understand and navigate the lending process. Active in the community, he serves on the boards of BTechPhilly and Collaborative Breakfast on the Mainline and as director for the BOLD Program. He is also passionate about mentorship and financial literacy and frequently leads educational sessions and workshops for entrepreneurs and young professionals.
